A form of Relief Printing centuries old, Letterpress consists of pushing paper into a raised bed of inked type or imagery, generally leaving an even debossing. It remains relevant today in it’s ability to produce results so tangible, that it could only be from this brute style of printmaking.

Initially a printers faux pax, the deep impression that makes letterpress shine today was the mark of poor craftsmanship, but as offset printing, digital, and so on developed, the ability to work with all types of paper, most notably extremely thick stock, is what now sets Letterpress apart.
